Business aviation services group Atlantic Aviation will install electric aircraft recharging equipment supplied by eVTOL aircraft developers Joby, Archer and Beta at sites across its U.S. FBO network.
Air Chateau International, a private helicopter operator in the UAE, intends to purchase up to 100 Midnight eVTOL aircraft from Archer Aviation in a deal worth $500 million.
Beta, which has already begun building a network of charging stations in the eastern U.S., says it has delivered several multimodal Level 3 DC fast chargers to Archer’s flight test facility in California.
Rival eVTOL air taxi developers Archer Aviation and Wisk Aero have squashed their row over intellectual property and will now collaborate on autonomous flight technologies, the companies announced August 10.
