Dufour Aerospace

The Swiss eVTOL developer has been using the Aero2 for development work on its larger Aero3 hybrid-electric vehicle, In response to positive market reaction, the company now intends to start production in 2023.

The new version of the Aero3 features six propellers on a tilting wing, plus two more installed on a new-look tail. Dufour is developing the aircraft in tandem with a smaller unmanned model called the Aero2.

According to eVTOL aircraft "sales and services platform" AirMobility, Japan expects to see initial advanced air mobility operations as early as 2023.

The company's main focus for now is on a hybrid-electric five- to seven-seat eVTOL aircraft called the aEro 3.
